Cyclone is one of the characters in the universe I’ve created: Eagaia.
As the semester comes to a close, I’ve had more time to work on my personal stuff. I’ve been making sketches all throughout the year, and I will finally have time to colour them as I’d hoped.
With this study of Cyclone, I encountered many of the problems that I usually do when it comes to digital art, including how to shade, how to highlight, background details, ect. I approached one of my classmates, Miranda Brown, to ask for another opinion about where I was taking the picture. (Her incredible artwork can be found here!)
After doing a largescale image like this, I think I will focus on character profiles. After I’m done them, I can move on to creating the actual story component.
